PG Soft has released well over a hundred slots, and new ones arrive regularly. That makes "which PG slot is best?" a fair question — but the honest answer is that there is no single best game. There are games that suit different budgets, play styles and moods. This guide compares the PG Soft titles Malaysian players open most often, explains what makes each one different, and helps you match a game to the way you like to play.
18+ only. No slot is "best" for winning. Every game has a house edge, and results are random.
How we chose these games
This is not a ranking by "how much it pays" — no honest guide can promise that. Games are included because they are:
- Widely available at Malaysian-facing casinos that carry PG Soft.
- Frequently searched by Malaysian players.
- Different from each other, so the list covers a range of styles.
Where a provider-published RTP is widely confirmed, we list it. Remember that casinos can run lower-RTP versions of the same game — the in-game information (ⓘ) screen is the only figure that counts.

The games in more detail
1. Mahjong Ways
The game most Malaysian players associate with PG Soft. Matching mahjong tiles on adjacent reels pay across 1,024 ways, wins cascade, and a multiplier rises with each cascade (x1 to x5 in the base game, x2 to x10 in free spins). Golden tiles turn into Wilds. Listed max win is 25,000x. Good for: players who like a familiar theme and medium-paced action. Full guide: Mahjong Ways 1 & 2.
2. Mahjong Ways 2
Same idea, bigger grid (2,000 ways) and a higher listed max win. If you already enjoy the original, the sequel feels instantly familiar. Good for: players who want the Mahjong Ways formula with more ways per spin.
3. Fortune Tiger
A compact 3×3 grid with a small number of lines, so rounds are fast and simple. Its signature feature is a respin round where the tiger can fill the screen. Listed max win is 2,500x — lower than the Mahjong games, which also means its range of outcomes is narrower. Good for: short sessions and players who prefer simple games.
4. Lucky Neko
A colourful lucky-cat slot with cascades and a free spins round. Some symbols can expand to cover more space, which helps keep cascades going. Good for: players who like busy, feature-heavy screens.
5. Treasures of Aztec
Cascading ways-to-win with a multiplier that grows with each cascade, plus free spins where the multiplier climbs higher. Mechanically it is close to Mahjong Ways, wrapped in an Aztec theme. Good for: Mahjong Ways fans who want a different look.
6. Wild Bandito
A Wild West–themed game where cascades raise the multiplier. Wins can come in long chains, and free spins add more upside. Good for: players comfortable with medium-to-high variance.
7. Caishen Wins
A God of Wealth theme that is popular around Chinese New Year. Open the in-game paytable to see exactly how its bonus and free-spin features work. Good for: players who like prosperity themes.
8 & 9. Fortune Ox and Fortune Rabbit
Part of the same "Fortune" family as Fortune Tiger: small grids, quick spins and a special respin or bonus feature. Good for: quick, low-commitment play.
10. Dragon Hatch
A dragon-themed game with a different layout from the classic reel games; open the in-game paytable to see how its winning combinations and features work. Good for: players who want something different from ways-to-win reels.
How to choose the right PG slot for you
- Decide your session budget first. A higher-variance game needs more spins to ride out dry spells, so use smaller bets.
- Match volatility to your patience. Want frequent small wins? Lean towards simpler, lower-variance games. Prefer chasing a big feature? Choose games like Mahjong Ways or Wild Bandito and accept longer quiet periods. See RTP & volatility explained.
- Check the RTP version in the info screen of the casino you're playing at.
- Try the demo. Ten minutes in demo mode tells you more about a game's pace than any review. See our PG slot demo guide.
- Check promotion rules. If you're using free credit, confirm the game is eligible and understand the turnover.
What "best" should not mean
Be wary of lists or social media posts that call a game "gacor" (hot) or claim a certain PG slot is "paying today". Slot results are produced by a certified random number generator; a game does not get "hotter" at certain hours, and nobody outside the provider can see or predict upcoming results. Any site selling "patterns", "RTP live trackers" or "hacks" for PG slots is selling you nothing of value.
Where to play these PG slots
Most casinos that carry PG Soft offer all ten games above. When you choose where to play, judge the platform on withdrawal speed, clear promotion terms and responsive support.
One option is MCC888, a Malaysian online casino with slots including PG Soft, live casino and sportsbook, plus local bank and e-wallet deposits and 24/7 support: see PG slots at MCC888. Read the terms of any promotion before you claim it.

FAQ
What is the best PG slot to play?
There is no single best game. Mahjong Ways and Mahjong Ways 2 are the most popular in Malaysia, while Fortune Tiger suits players who want simple, fast rounds.
Which PG slot has the highest RTP?
Many PG Soft titles are published at around 96.7–97%. The differences between them are small, and casinos may run lower versions, so check the in-game info screen.
Which PG slot has the biggest max win?
Among the popular titles, the Mahjong Ways series has some of the highest listed max wins. Remember that max win is a theoretical ceiling that most players never reach.
Is there a PG slot that is "gacor" today?
No. Every spin is random and independent. Claims that a game is "hot" at a certain time have no basis.
Can I try PG slots before playing for real money?
Yes. Many casinos offer a demo mode with virtual credits. Demo winnings cannot be withdrawn.
